LTEU 110/European Romanticism/"Let's Get Wasted Literature"

I'm taking European Romanticism this quarter.
In retrospect, or shall I say "naive-ity-spect", everything I've thought about the subject has been slightly "dumbed down"?. Well for the lack of words, I'll leave it at that for now. No, I can't say I'm disappointed. If anything it just makes me more excited. Before taking this class my enthusiasm for Romanticism was like at a "yay we're going to Disneyland" level, as opposed to right now where it's reached the "I'm so noncholant at this point because it's so damn great" level. Sure, I found out or shall I say realized today while in class that really all that Romanticism is hyped up to be is just a bunch of insane and drunk writers, poets, and other pseudo-artists being in a drunken state writing about nature and what not... but really, you can't deny greatness if you've stumbled upon it. I recommend this class. The professor let's you out early like almost every class, it's a bonus I think. He just kind decides on a whim... "Ok, class is done I think".
